Family Farms.
Big Ideas.

Herefords have always been known for their docile temperament and feed efficiency. Angus have always been known for lighter birth weights, good growth and outstanding carcasses. The combination of these two breeds produces an outstanding animal with the benefit of the black color – “the color you can count on”!

Our Mission

The North Carolina Black Hereford Association will be helping move the breed forward into the future.  We will be promoting the breed with the plan to offer sales and host shows that draw people from all over the nation. We will focus on growing our member base and putting great genetics here at everyone’s fingertips rather than having to travel so far.
